Manufacturing Czar- Lucky US
We are in luck…the Obama administration has finally assigned someone to look over the manufacturing industry and make sure we are coordinated with government. In the WSJ, Ron Bloom has been named the senior counselor for manufacturing….I assume that this is the same as a Manufacturing Czar. From the article, it seems that Bloom has been overseeing the auto industry for Obama. That’s a relief!!
He is a former representative for the steel union AND an investment banker, which surely qualifies him to drive competitiveness in US manufacturing and will definitely ensure that the manufacturing sector is saved. Don’t worry though, the article says he will NOT be dictating how much a factory should produce or the products they should make….perhaps this will eventually be part of another government department since we are rapidly trying to replicate the socialistic regime that China has been evacuating for the past 20 years. They didn’t call them manufacturing czars, just state-owned factories in which the government determined the product and quantities produced.
